Throughout the year, the Bush administration has been building the case for war on Iran -- Bush even warned of WWIII if Iran builds a nuclear weapon. Cheney warned of "serious consequences." Fast forward to December 2007, it's confirmed that Iran abandoned its nuclear weapons program in 2003. Moreover, Bush knew that the nuclear weapons program "may be suspended" before he made his famous WWIII comment. So why did he still beat the drums of war?
