America is at a crossroads and faces a clear choice on November 7.
Will it continue down the road of the Bush Administration's ill conceived "stay the course" policy in Iraq? Or will it choose a new direction that increases our security and brings our troops home?
Two leaders who will lead America on a new path are Zach Space of Ohio and Rep. Ben Cardin of Maryland. Space is running to replace disgraced Rep. Bob Ney in Ohio's 18th Congressional District, while Cardin is running against Lt. Gov. Michael Steele for the Senate seat opened by retiring Senator Sarbanes in Maryland.

There have been important developments in both races this week as they gear up their campaigns for the November 7 general election.
Space's opponent, Joy Padgett, was hand picked by the corrupt Rep. Bob Ney, who is leaving Congress. Ney pled guilty today to two criminal charges of conspiracy and making false statements related to his work with lobbyist Jack Abramoff. While Ney may face jail time, he is trying to install one of his protégées to succeed him. Zack Space is running a strong campaign against Padgett, and with your help, he can win this seat. In Maryland, Ben Cardin's opponent, Michael Steele, is supporting the Iraq War. On Fox News Steele said that he supports the President's Iraq policies and that Iraq's constitution is a sign that "democracy has spread her wings so much farther than anyone ever expected it would."
As a member of the House of Representatives, Ben Cardin not only voted against the authorization to use force in Iraq but has continued speaking out against the war. He now calls for bringing half of American troops home by the end of 2006 and the remainder in 2007. The Maryland Senate election is very close. Contribute to Ben Cardin's campaign now!
Change is desperately needed in Congress. The Bush Administration's "stay the course" policy in Iraq is a spectacular failure and new policies are needed.
